he stands tall
in his suit and tie, a golden plate
against his magical lips.
he tips his head to me in the crowd,
lifts his flute to play
astounding sounds that
emanate effortlessly from
his body which seems to sway
in a musical wind no else feels against
their cheek.
Cobus du Toit is my flute teacher! How lucky am I!
