everyone is stiff and no one can touch their toes,
we don't even try as we laze on our yoga mats,
blankets under knees, blocks behind us, just lie
there or if you want, try this pose to stretch
your impossibly stiff quads and hamstrings.
ah, the class for us, the stressed out, the too stiff,
the ones who just can't face 16 flow sequences
in a hot room; we watch them come out before
us, drenched in sweat, grateful it is not us.
