he's my son.
picking up the bill at the restaurant,
buying my sandwich at the beach,
getting my plane ticket.
this is what I like to see.
still so much the same as
when he was a boy,
impulsive, strong-headed, on the move,
physical, smart.
I made him take a selfie of us to
show the world, to remember, this wonderful
moment on Angel Island.
SF is his home now.
I was glad to be invited in
to see.
