dutifully.

every else carpooled in a Subaru wagon
we drove in the Sonnett, his hand on my leg,
our bucket seats touching.
Adulthood
IV.  The Justy
Three cylinders of raw power.
V. The Prizm and the MiniVan
we are now mature adults.
