water on a wall
soon to disappear under blazing sun,
a passer-by with her brush, dripping wet
she presses it against the smooth hot stucco
the moisture transfers, droplets form and run
until they are gone again to air, it will
happen again and again until her brush
runs dry, and the road ends.
