i can imagine his fingers caressing my spine,
dropping between each vertebra, pausing at each
to massage a few circular strokes before proceeding
to the next,
but is it as good as the real thing, the palpable feel
of skin on skin, that slight variation with his breath,
a sigh of contentment may escape my lips.
