the perfect pie
sweet potato pie
all butter crust
for Christmas dinner,
the perfect dinner
at the perfect house
with four bedrooms with four
private bathrooms.
stone cold but perfect, but
my perfect pie is warm
and smells divine in my
tiny house, the warm smell
of freshly baked sweet potato
pie does not have to drift
far to fill the entire house
with warmth.
