that tree I see every day is all of a sudden interesting.
at the base, a large bulbous structure sprinkled with
sprouts on bark resembling elephant skin.
Two trunks reach towards the sky from such
an unlikely base.
Bella and I have walked by a thousand times,
but I never really looked, I never felt, I never
bothered and so I wonder how many times
I have never really looked, felt nor bothered
to really notice.
