We spent the day in
bed reading novels,
nestled against warm
corn bags, or maybe,
a loved one.
No riding of scooters,
driving cars, no
appointments to keep,
everything is quiet.
Angels have fallen
from heaven to grant
us peace in our day,
those six sided miracles
called snow.
